The theme for National Palliative Care week 2013 is
Palliative Care……..everyone’s business.
Palliative care week occurs between the 19th & 25th of May.
Fernlea House are combining Palliative care week with a celebration of volunteers and are doing so by having a Un Deb Ball. Words like fabulous, fantastic, fun & frivolous fundraising gives an idea about the night. Be game and wear your fancy glad rags and join them. For more details click our link Fernlea UnDebBall2013
Palliative Care Victoria is featuring Dr Ira Byock as a key speaker during palliative care week. He will give an interactive presentation on “Saying the four things that matter most for living & dying well” .
Dr Byock is a great story teller, using wisdom, warmth and humour to communicate on living and dying well and how we can experience what really matters most in our lives every day.
Discounted tickets are available for palliative care volunteers and registration is available through the Palliative Care Victoria website
