New round of palliative care scholarships now open

Following a successful first round of scholarships, the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR) Palliative Care Consortium has released a second round of scholarships. The intent of these scholarships is to offer opportunities to health care staff of any discipline working within the EMR to increase their knowledge and skills in palliative care and to take this new knowledge back into their own workplace. The scholarship requires the participant to commit to completing a 2.5 hour online introduction to palliative care course and a clinical placement via PEPA (Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach). The scholarship will fund a relevant short course or study day in palliative care.
For further information please contact the Consortium Manager; Karen Conte on 8804 0651 or via email at consortiummanager@epc.asn.au You can download the Instructions for applicants and the Palliative Care Scholarship Application Form here.
Applications close 5pm July 31.
