Palliative Care Education Scholarships

We know that many people require a palliative approach to their care and may not necessarily need to be referred to a specialist palliative care service. This scholarship aims to encourage health workers working outside the speciality of palliative care to increase their knowledge and skills to take back to their workplace. The Eastern Metropolitan Region Palliative Care Consortium (EMRPCC) is pleased to offer five scholarships for attendance at a palliative care course or study day. The scholarships are available to non-specialist palliative care health workers across the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR) of Melbourne.
There are five scholarships available each valued at up to $500. You can apply for funds to cover the whole course (if under $500) or to go toward a course that costs more than $500.
Health care workers from any health related field within the EMR are eligible to apply. There are courses available within the region; however you can apply for a course being held anywhere in Victoria.
